Draft prepared for the prototype, last updated 15 October 2026. It is not legal advice. Final wording must be confirmed by KÁSIE and reviewed by an Israeli attorney before the site goes live. Items in dashed boxes are missing business details.
KÁSIE wants everyone to be able to browse the site and contact us. We work to meet Israeli Standard 5568, which is based on WCAG at level AA, and we aim for WCAG 2.2 AA.
Adjustments made
- Full keyboard use, a visible focus mark that is not hidden by the sticky header, and a "skip to content" link on every page.
- Text alternatives for informative images, labels on every form field and button, and required fields marked.
- A clear page structure: one main heading per page, ordered subheadings, and navigation, main and footer areas.
- English and Hebrew, with the page language, text direction and page title switching together.
- Colour contrast of at least 4.5 to 1 for text. Text placed over photographs sits on a dark layer that was measured against the brightest parts of each photo.
- The home page slideshow and the product video can be paused. Animation, parallax and smooth scrolling are switched off for visitors whose system asks to reduce motion. Videos have no sound.
- The cookie notice and its settings can be used with the keyboard, and the settings window traps focus until it is closed.
- The site adapts to phones and tablets, works down to a 320 px wide screen without sideways scrolling, and can be zoomed to 200% without losing content. Touch targets are at least 24 px.
How we checked
Pages were tested with an automated engine (axe-core, WCAG 2.2 A and AA rules plus best practice), with manual keyboard checks, at 320 px width, and in both languages. The automated test found no violations on the pages tested.
Known limits
- We have not yet tested with screen readers such as NVDA, JAWS or VoiceOver, and a formal audit by an accessibility specialist has not been carried out. We will update this statement when both are done.
- Forms use the browser's own error messages, which can differ between browsers.
